Seeds are started

I finally got my seeds in the mail from Burpee yesterday.
I started the bell peppers and tomatoes.
EG=Early Girl
BB= Big Boy
PP= Patio Princess

I'll wait until April 1st to plant the cucumbers and green beans outside.

Its almost spring!

Ok, so my garden burned up in July last year. This year I decided to put all my veggies in containers. The strawberries will stay in the ground since they are already there. I ordered my seeds from Burpee last week. Last year I used all cheapy seeds. Hopefully this year, using containers, good "dirt", and good seeds, I will have more luck than I did last year.

Our first snow day

The kids FINALLY got to play in the snow! It wasn't much, but there was lots of playing, hot coco, more playing, more hot coco...... I think it was colder than they were expecting. hahaha
North Carolina doesn't know what to think when it snows, so school was canceled for 2 days!

My sweet boy

This morning Connor told me that he is going to build robots when he grows up, and that he's going to get really rich but he is not going to keep his money. Instead he's going to give it to all of the poor people, and once ALL the poor people have money then he will buy stuff for himself.

And I thought he wasn't paying attention...

Another Day at the Beach

On New Years Eve we took the kids to the aquarium and stopped at the beach for a few pictures on the way home.

Little Miss Emily is growing so fast. We are really enjoying her!

A new addition

Meet miss Emily Emma Kroening. (The boys couldn't agree on one name.) She is a Cavapoo. We actually got her about 3 weeks ago, but I keep forgetting to post about it. So far she is a GREAT dog, and has been SUPER easy to house train. The kids love her. =)
